We Wish You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Carnforth Rotary would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone at TESCO for allowing us to collect the presents for HomeStart and funds for our International Projects, and to all the customers who were extremely generous with their donations. We are truly amazed by the generosity and kindness of everyone. Thank you to Natwest Bank for delivery of a further 60 presents.

We would also like to thank Norjac, Speights, The Station Hotel, The Greyhound, all helpers and everyone who donated on Sleigh nights.

Party Time

What a jolly time was had by all at the Christmas Party, organised by Carnforth Rotary, on Monday 5th December, in the Civic Hall Carnforth.

John Barnett, the High Sheriff of Lancaster, his lovely wife Danielle and Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner, Clive Grunshaw, attended along with approximately 60 lively pensioners from Carnforth and the surrounding area.

Entertainment was provided by pupils (and teachers) from Carnforth North Road and Christ Church Primary Schools, with a special visit from Santa Claus.

Many thanks go to the ladies of Carnforth Inner Wheel who put on a fabulous assortment of food including sandwiches, trifle, cakes and mince pies, as well as providing the beautiful table decorations. Also to Rick and his wife for all of their help on the day.
